Our garden

This year we have Planted a garden and it has been really fun. Everyone has put alot of hard work into it and all the vegetables have been growing very fast. We have got lots of tomato's lots of them are red and orange and they are very small, well some anyway. I am hoping that next year in grade 7 that we will be able to continue with the gardens.

Gardens

this term grade 6's have planted some vegetables in the garden beds at school. i planted some carrots in my garden bed and a couple of other vegetables. it is really fun planting vegetable and most Mondays me and my friend Maddy have to soak them so then they will plant faster. It has been really fun planting gardens this term.

On Friday the 18Th we had our sports carnival.
The first race I did was my 200 metres and I got 3rd place for it. I liked this race because it is not to hard but not to easy either. The second race I did was the 100 metres and I got 4Th place for this race and I liked it because it is easy and simple to do The third thing I did was got all my team members and we all played tug of war against Mackillop and o'shea. Steele had won. Then it was time for lunch. When lunch was over it was time for the 800 metres I was really nervous for this race because it was 2 laps of the oval. When I had finished doing this race i was really puffed. I got 4th place.

Gala day

On the 13th of May grade 6 and 7 had gla day. My sport is soccer. I chose soccer because i reacon it is fun to run around kicking the ball and trying to score goals.

The first game we played just for fun Jr.1 and jr.2 had played against eachother. Jr.1 won.

Then when the game was finished we had a lunch break while the Sr1 and sr2's where playing eachother. then when it was time to go play we were waiting for Livingstone Cristion Collage to get there. When they got there we had a really good game we played 0ml and livingstone got 9ml. When we were finished the game we had to go pack up all of our stuff and then wait for the Sr's to finish there game. When they were done we all walked back to school as a group and sat down.

Gala Day!!

On Friday the 19Th of March Grade 6 and 7 had Gala Day. My sport is soccer. I chose soccer because I like to run around kicking balls.

When I got there I went to put my stuff down under a shady tree and then went with my friends to kick the ball. Then it was my turn to play. First I had yo go get my drink bottle from under the tree Then go get ready to play. So I played the whole game until it was time for a break for about a hour while The grade 7's had a go at playing a game. Then it was my turn to play again but this time i only played until half break.

I like plying soccer because I get to run around kicking the ball. It is really fun because I have Mr Armstrong to coach me.

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing alot of maths.
we have been doing adding and subtracting with decimals. Plus three digit and two digit Timestables. Now i am really good at these sorts of timestables. I am really enjoying maths now.

This year i am in grade six and my teacher is Mr Armstrong!
Our class name is 6A. I have most of my friends in my class but my bestest friend is Selina.The things i am most exited about this term is the gala days and the swim carnival which is next thursday the 11.02.10.i cant wait!!!
